Left 4 Dead & Launch Day
So I almost missed out entirely on the Left 4 Dead demo on Steam but finally got in last night. I played through it once alone with Zoey solo to get the hang of things, and then online with a group with Bill and had a very good time. I thought today’s comic at Ctrl Alt Del well summarized how I felt when I healed my teammate playing Zoey (dirty old man):

I slept in today to prepare for night. I am still debating whether I will actually go to bed tonight because I am part of the “early team” in at 3 AM to make sure nothing asplodes. I find that if I am going to sleep less than 4 hours, I would rather not sleep at all, and I’ll have to leave my house at 2:30. So I’ll have to be asleep by 10, and I’m not sure that I can pull that off. Either way, I am ready for it!
